Mlungisi Khuzani Ndlovu, professionally known as uGatsheni, was born on April 14, 1990, in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. A prominent Amapiano singer, uGatsheni began his professional music career in 2012 at the age of 22.

On December 20, 2025, he releases his latest single “Wadlala Ngami” from the album Izinto Zamahhal, exclusive on Side Makini Blog. Known for hits across his albums Isigqila Sengoma (2018), Umakhal’ esondela (2019), Yimi Inkosi (2020), Inhlupheko (2021), Isiqenqe (2022), Uyihlo Nonyoko (2023), and Unqeqe (2024), uGatsheni continues to define South Africa’s Amapiano and Maskandi sound with his award-winning artistry.
