Mlungisi Khuzani Ndlovu, professionally known as Ugatsheni, was born on April 14, 1990 in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He began his musical career at 22 in 2012 and has released several successful albums, including Isigqila Sengoma (2018), Umakhal’ esondela (2019), Yimi Inkosi (2020), Inhlupheko (2021, Platinum-certified), and Uyihlo Nonyoko (2023).

On December 20, 2025, Ugatsheni drops his latest Amapiano track, “Igama Lami” from the album Izinto Zamahhal, exclusive on Side Makini Blog.
