Oscar John Lelo, professionally known as Whozu, was born on March 10, 1996, and hails from Arusha, Tanzania. The talented singer and songwriter is widely recognized for blending pop, R&B, Afrobeat, and traditional Tanzanian sounds. He rose to national fame in 2018 when his song “Huendi Mbinguni” became the official theme for the Tigo Fiesta Festival, followed by hits such as “Roboti,” “Doko,” and “Turn Me On.” Whozu has collaborated with artists including Rich Mavoko, Gigy Money, Hamisa Mobetto, Alikiba, Marioo, and Billnass.
