Hailing from Arusha and whose career began after his 2018 single “Huendi Mbinguni” was chosen as the theme song for the Tigo Fiesta Festival, Whozu has continued to build a reputation for making music that combines rhythm and meaning.
In his latest release, “Imani na Mama”, Whozu pays tribute to President Samia Suluhu Hassan—Tanzania’s first female president—celebrating her leadership, vision, and the spirit of hope she inspires. The song is not only a tribute to an individual but also a traditional anthem of unity, resilience, and progress that resonates deeply with the people of Tanzania.
