Mlungisi Khuzani Ndlovu, professionally known as uGatsheni, was born on April 14, 1990, in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He began his professional music career in 2012 and rose to prominence with his Platinum-certified album “Inhlupheko.” Over the years, he has released projects such as Isigqila Sengoma, Yimi Inkosi, and Uyihlo Nonyoko, earning major recognition in South African traditional music.

On December 20, 2025, uGatsheni releases “Thanana,” an Amapiano track taken from his album “Izinto Zamahhal.” The song blends rhythmic Amapiano elements with his signature vocal style, marking another strong moment in his evolving sound, exclusively on Side Makini Blog.
