Kenya’s rising star, Happy C, whose real name is Happy Chondo, is back with a new Bongo Flava song titled “The One.” At just 27 years old, Happy C is making his first public appearance in East Africa, after making his debut at a birthday party hosted by the Governor of Mombasa.

Best known for his previous hits “Sema,” “Cheku Cheku,” and “Index 001,” Happy C now shows his love for “The One” — a heartfelt song that explores love, destiny, and emotional connections through Swahili vocals and Bongo beats.
This marks his fifth official release, paving the way for his upcoming 6-track album expected later this year, featuring top artists like Nviiri and Bensoul. “The One” is not just a love song — it’s a testament to the emotional and vocal maturity that Happy C brings to the East African music scene.
