Born in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on April 3, 1992, Didi B grew up in a working-class home—his father was a producer and his mother a choreographer. From starring in films produced by UNICEF to dominating African hip-hop as a member of Kiff No Beat, he has found himself in the creative spotlight. Since launching his solo career in 2021, he has released several singles, racking up millions of streams and becoming one of Africa’s most popular rap voices.
On “Loca,” the trio combines the warmth of Bongo Fleva, the curves of Afrosound, and Didi B’s sharp delivery. Qing Madi adds her sweet Nigerian touch, while Jux delivers smooth Swahili vocals, creating a continental track that can be played and tracked on a variety of platforms.
