Bruce Elias Sanane, popularly known by his stage name Bruce Africa, is a highly talented musician from Tanzania, recognized in the Bongo Fleva genre. Starting his musical journey at the age of 7 singing in the church choir, Bruce has since become one of the most promising artists in East Africa. His guitar skills, taught by his father when he was 15, have become his companion throughout his musical career.

After completing his secondary education, Bruce competed in the prestigious Bongo Star Search (BSS) talent show, reaching the semi-finals. Post-competition, he worked with Christian Bella’s group CBO before becoming an independent artist in 2022, releasing hits like “In Love,” “Falling Down,” and the breakout track “YOU” that introduced him to a larger audience.
Now, with his new EP “Boyfriend Life”, Bruce Africa showcases his artistic depth in the hit song “Siwezi”, which is gaining popularity across various streaming platforms. His music blends the rhythmic beats of Bongo Fleva with heartfelt lyrics that resonate with fans of African music.
