Bruce Elias Sanane, professionally known as Bruce Africa, is a Tanzanian singer-songwriter renowned for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. His musical journey commenced at the age of 7 in a church choir, and by 15, he had mastered the guitar under his father’s guidance. Bruce gained national recognition after reaching the semi-finals in Bongo Star Search (BSS) Season 11 (2019–2020). Post-BSS, he joined Christian Bella’s CBO group, honing his skills before launching a solo career in 2022 with hits like “In Love,” “Falling Down,” and the chart-topping “YOU.”
