Born Salum Said Nyangumwe, Golden TZ is a rising Bongo Flava artist from Tanzania, with roots in Morogoro (Gairo). His journey in music has been influenced by diverse cultures, thanks to his mother’s relocation from Morogoro to Dar es Salaam.

Golden honed his craft under the mentorship of the late Rugemalila Mutahaba, a key figure in Tanzania’s music industry and co-founder of Clouds Media. With a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Dar es Salaam, and professional training at Tanzania House of Talent (THT), Golden is deeply connected to Africa’s rich musical landscape.
