Juma Mussa Mkambala, born 1 September 1989, widely known as Jux, is a leading Tanzanian artist and songwriter. Known for his incredible contributions to East African R&B, Jux rose to fame with his hit single “Sugua”, and has continued to dominate the charts with tracks like “Juu”, “Regina”, and “Nitasubiri”. He is celebrated for his soulful voice and storytelling ability, blending emotional depth with a distinct Tanzanian sound.

Jux began his career in 2008 under A.M Records and quickly became one of the highest-paid artists in Tanzania. In addition to his musical success, he has a keen interest in fashion and established his own brand in 2018. His first studio album, “The Love Album”, released in 2019, has been a massive success with over 1.3 million streams on Boomplay.
Jux has received numerous awards, including Best R&B Song at the 2015 Tanzania Music Awards, and recognition for his powerful music videos at the Zanzibar International Film Festival. His recent single “Si Mimi” promises to be another standout, setting the tone for his upcoming EP.
