Bruce Elias Sanane, famously known as Bruce Africa, is a renowned singer-songwriter from Tanzania. His journey in music began at the tender age of 7, when he started singing in his church choir. His love for music grew stronger at 15 when he learned to play the guitar under the guidance of his father. This instrument became a pivotal part of his musical identity, accompanying him both on stage and in the studio.

In 2019, Bruce Africa took part in the Bongo Star Search (BSS) competition, a platform that highlights emerging talents in Tanzania. Though he didn’t win, Bruce reached the semi-finals, which laid the foundation for his career in Bongo Fleva. Afterward, he worked with Christian Bella’s group CBO, where he released several tracks and gained recognition in the Tanzanian music industry.
In 2022, Bruce Africa embarked on a solo career, dropping hit songs such as “In Love,” “Falling Down,” and the popular track “YOU”. Now, Bruce continues to amaze his fans with his new release “Love,” a collaboration with V-BE from his EP Boyfriend Life.
