Born Albert Keneth Mangwair on November 16, 1982, in Mbeya, Tanzania, Ngwair was one of the most influential Bongo Hip-Hop artists of his generation. Raised in Morogoro & Dodoma, he later moved to Dar es Salaam, where he collaborated with P. Funk Majani, releasing his debut album Ghetto Langu in 2003.

Ngwair’s unmatched lyrical storytelling & street anthems won him the Best Hip-Hop Player at the Kilimanjaro Music Awards 2005. His influence in Tanzanian Hip-Hop remains unmatched, with hits like Mikasi, Ghetto Langu, Sikiliza, and Speed 120.

Ngwair passed away on May 28, 2013, in South Africa, but his music continues to inspire Hip-Hop fans worldwide.
